Alang, Gujarat  is thought to be the worlds' second largest ship wrecking and recycling yard. Labourers hive over a decommission vesicle, removing any scraps that might of value from hand rails to port window, old deck chairs to a nautical compasses. All these items can be found on auction salvaged at Alang. The steel hull has the highest value that is the last to be extracted, that can fetch over a million dollars.
