This is a little gem of a place, step back into time and visiting a 18th Century Danish Fort, wander around the village down lane ways you will surely experience magic. Long beach, lined with fisher folk, if you go past a small inlet you will find some untouched beach. Accommodation are limited (see map.) Same for restaurant and other facilities almost perfect depending on how you look at it.

much thanks for this useful site, we ended up spending 2 weeks in Tharangambadi last winter was terrific and easily the best place in south India.:cry:
